Deciding between a 40-Hour Program or 60-Hour Program?

All of our programs are online-based with live coaching/practice sessions conducted by healthcare professionals and professional interpreters. The difference between a 40-Hour Program and a 60-Hour Program is described below.

The 60-Hour Program is a comprehensive language-specific program that prepares you with the critical skills in BOTH languages to interpret in acute care, medical centers, medical specialties (oncology, orthopedics, gasteroenterology, etc) in addition to ambulatory care, while the 40-Hour Program prepares you with general skills for interpreting in primary care clinics and community health centers.

Interpreters whose native language is not English may enroll in either the 40-Hour or the 60-Hour Program.

An 80-Hour Professional Program is available for those who want to elevate their skills and distinguish themselves with advanced knowledge. With the 80-Hour Program, you will also have a choice of four electives. Please contact us for this option.
